Peanut is the AAHS Adoptable Dog of the Week!

Though he can be a little shy at first, it just takes one sniff for Peanut to start wiggling! If you're looking for a cuddle bug, Peanut is your guy!

Peanut was brought to animal control because his owner could no longer care for him. He is such a sweet, lovable, silly little guy. Currently he is about 2 years old and weighs 35 pounds. Peanut loves to play, though he is starting to learn to play with toys. He would prefer to interact with a person than toys. He is great with other dogs, walks right past cats and would be a great addition to any family. Peanut is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks great on a leash. Though he can be a little shy at first, it just takes one sniff for him to start wiggling. If you are looking for a cuddle bug that likes to play and take long naps, he is your man!

Peanut's Canine-ality is Busy Bee: I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated)
