Announcing New Pet CPR & First Aid Course Dates at AAHS!

Know how to perform vital first aid and CPR on your pets in case they get into a life-threatening situation!

The Athens Area Humane Society is happy to have Christine Carter, certified Pet Tech Instructor, offer Pet First Aid and CPR courses! The next open Pet CPR and First Aid courses will be offered on February 23, March 2 and April 13 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at our Watkinsville location (1781 Mars Hill Rd., Watkinsville, GA 30677). You only need to attend one of the course dates to compete your certification.

Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to a pet who is injured or ill. Knowing the skills and techniques of pet first aid can mean the difference between life and death for your pet. Being Prepared is the key!

PetTech's First Aid and CPR course will prepare you for...

  • Restraining an Ill or Injured Pet
  • CPR & Rescue Breathing
  • Bleeding Injuries
  • Heat & Cold Injuries
  • Snake/Insect Bites
  • Bandaging

If you would like to sign up for our next course, please complete the course registration form at www.AthensHumaneSociety.org. Keep in mind that space is limited. The course costs $50 and a large portion of that is donated to AAHS, thanks to Christine's generosity! Payment is due at the beginning of each course.
