Watch the Cast of National Geographic's 'Abandoned' Explore an Old Watkinsville Cotton Gin

The episode first aired Wednesday and will be shown again later this week. Clips from the show are also available online.

An old cotton gin in Watkinsville, Ga. was featured on an episode of National Geographic's "Abandoned," which aired for the first time at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5. A re-run is scheduled to air on Friday, Sept. 7 at 10:30 p.m.

The show follows carpenter and collector Jay Chaikin and his team as they travel across the county combing through "abandoned buildings that may hold unexpected 'gems' of history with shockingly high values," according to the show's website.

The episode's overview for "Georgia Cotton Gin" states: "From a vintage Coca-Cola machine and Dino gas pumps to a Depression-era portrait and a Zenith radio, the guys truly uncover relic royalty." The team also finds a hot-rod.  Read the full overview here.
