Oconee Democrats Community Reading Group

The Oconee Democrats sponsor a community reading group the last Wednesday of each month (except for November and December) at the Taco Stand on Hog Mountain Road. Both adults and teens from any county and any political leaning are invited to join. The January book selection is "An Education in Georgia" about the racial desegregation of the University of Georgia by Calivin Trillin, who covered it for The New Yorker fifty years ago. The book was chosen to tie in with E-mail Pat Priest for more information.
