Come shop and dine in downtown Watkinsville. December's "First Friday” will feature the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree. This popular event gives area residents a family-friendly environment to enjoy downtown commerce while visiting with neighbors. The “Kid’s Zone,” across the street from the courthouse, has themed activities in addition to a moonwalk (weather permitting) and free popcorn.. The event is sponsored by the Watkinsville Trade and Tourism Association.
