Here is our pick of activities going on in or around Oconee County this weekend.

Where/When: . Festivities begin Friday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. The season ends on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Why Go: To experience the corn maze during its inaugural weekend and create fun-filled memories with the entire family.

Where/When: Ashford Manor on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why Go: To take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn about Zimbabwe and its rich, artistic cultural heritage by viewing Shona stone sculptures on an informal garden tour.

Where/When: Cellar Theatre at the on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Why Go: To see Broadway’s longest-running comedy, a fast-paced whodunit, that mixes a Hitchcock masterpiece, a juicy spy novel and adds a dash of Monty Python.

Pricing: $15; $12 students

Where/When: Town Park in Madison on Saturday from 11:a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: To enjoy the Chili Cook-off competition and the Fall Festival featuring great music, good food, a beer garden and a Harvest Marketplace featuring locally grown produce and handmade crafts.
