Why Go: To see the talented Rose of Athens Theatre company perform one of Shakespeare’s finest comedies and enjoy a picnic beforehand.

2. ART IN THE GARDEN: PLEIN AIR PAINT-OUT EXHIBITION AND SALE

Where/When: State Botanical Garden of Georgia on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: To see the juried painting exhibition and sale that is the culmination of a six-day paint-out by artists in support of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia and art initiatives.

Where/When: Athens Clarke-County Library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: To celebrate Harry Potter and Renaissance Science through storytelling, music, trivia and crafts and to see the traveling exhibit, "Harry Potter's World: Renaissance Science, Magic and Medicine."

Pricing: Free

 Where/When: State Botanical Garden of Georgia on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Why Go: To stroll through the display gardens with sculptor Andrew T. Crawford and learn about the design, installation and construction of his exhibition.

Where/When: Athens Arena in Bogart on Saturday with doors opening at 4 p.m. for the Bad News B's bout at 5 p.m. and doors opening at 7 p.m. for the Allstars’ bout at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: To cheer for your favorite Georgia Rollergirl team and help support the Athens-Clarke Literacy Council

Pricing: $10 single bout in advance; $12 at the door; $15 both bouts in advance; $20 at the door
