Weekend in Oconee April 21-22

Earth Day is April 22. How will you celebrate?

Weather: Mostly cloudy skies are in the Weather Channel's forecast for Saturday.  Highs will reach into the upper 70s and there's a slight chance for a scattered shower. We'll see cooler temperatures on Sunday and partly cloudy skies.  Expect a high of around 70 degrees.

  • Tax Day 2012 has come and gone.  If you've got important documents around the house that you need to expose of, consider swinging by on N. Main Street for the . From 9 a.m. to noon, you can shred up to two standard size boxes per vehicle. Donations will be given to the March of Dimes.
  • Speaking of benefits and banks, holds a used book sale from 9 a.m. to noon and will donate monies raised to the Oconee County Relay for Life.
