  • It's storytime! The Oconee Library hosts a free storytime for little ones ages 2-5 every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. 1080 Experiment Station Rd, Watkinsville. 706-769-3950.
  • Fall Festival is less than a month away, and volunteers are still needed to help with the big day, which includes the Scarecrow 5K race and Fun Run. For more information please contact festival coordinator, Julia Estess at (706) 769-7947, or by email; jestess@oconeechamber.org.
  • The Lyndon House Arts Center offers the free program "Bird DAWGS: Where, when and how to see birds in the Athens area" at 12:30 p.m.  Learn tips on identifying our most commonly-encountered species by sight and ear, and more.
  • The Presidential Search Committee, which is seeking a new president for UGA after current UGA President Michael Adams steps down on June 30, 2013, will host an open forum via the internet. Access the live stream from 3-4 p.m. through this link http://www.ctl.uga.edu/eventstream.
  • Wednesday night is Trivia Night at Your Pie Watkinsville.  It begins at 7:30 p.m.
