Weather: Expect partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s for the middle of the work week. Overnight, skies will be clear and lows will dip into the mid 50s, according to the Weather Channel.

Top things to know:

  • It's storytime! The Oconee Library hosts a free storytime for little ones ages 2-5 every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. 1080 Experiment Station Rd, Watkinsville. 706-769-3950.
  • A blood drive takes place at UGA's Science Library from noon to 5 p.m.  It's sponsored by the UGA Air Force ROTC.
  • Ginger Zee, meteorologist for ABC News’ “Good Morning America," visits the UGA campus for a presentation from 4:30- 5:30 p.m. in the Student Learning Center. See more details.
  • OCHS hosts East Hall in the first round of the state volleyball tournament. The match is set for 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday night is Trivia Night at Your Pie Watkinsville.  It begins at 7:30 p.m.
