Check out a sampling of happenings in and around Oconee today.

1. Watch out for spotty fog this morning and a 30 percent chance of rain until about 2 p.m., according to the Weather Channel.  Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for the afternoon with the high around 62 degrees.

2. Vistacare representatives will visit the at 10:30 a.m. to provide a program about services for the visually impaired.

3. Today is the opening day of the 63rd Georgia Science & Engineering Fair.  The fair, held in the , features work in the fields of biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and engineering from junior and senior high school finalists.  Projects will be on display through April 2.

4. Raffle ticket sales continue to raise monies for Oconee County Sheriff's Office deputies to attend Police Week Washington D.C. in May. To find out more, see this
