Oconee Today -- March 10

Gusty winds are in the forecast. Find out what else there is to know about in and around Oconee today.

1. Oconee County is in for a windy day, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.  A wind advisory goes into effect from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and notes that sustained winds around 20 mph are expected with possible gusts up to 35 mph, which can make driving difficult.  There is another chance of morning showers and then skies will remain cloudy.  High temperatures will be in the upper 50s.

2. " is a current exhibit at that features paintings by artist Christy Green. The art will be on display through March 25.

4.  The University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra will be in concert tonight at 8 p.m. at Hodgson Concert Hall.  Admission is free.

5. hosts a weekly spaghetti dinner on Thursdays beginning at 6 p.m.  The meal is followed by entertainment at 7 p.m. For a child, a plate is $4 and it is $7 for adults.
