Seniors celebrate America's independence and the State Botanical Garden holds a first Friday event.

  • There will be no First Friday event in downtown Watkinsville this evening.Β  The Watkinsville Trade and Tourism Association-sponsored monthly event resumes in August with a back to school theme, the Oconee Enterprise reports.Β 
  • If you missed opening night, there's another chance to see The Circle Ensemble Theatre's presentation of "" at 8 p.m. at Ashford Manor.Β  Additional performances are scheduled for Saturday night and next Thursday- Saturday.
