A career fair for UGA alumni and students, and a live chat hosted by the Department of Labor are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.
Weather: Clouds will increase throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service's forecast. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s. There's a 20 percent chance of showers overnight and low temperatures will be in the low 50s.
Top things to know:
- UGA will dedicate the new facility for the University Childcare Center at 9 a.m.
- Join Patch as we carry the Department of Labor's live 90-minute online chat in which a panel of experts will provide information on dealing with a variety of topics. It will start at 11:30 a.m. .
- Alumni and students of the University of Georgia are invited to the annual at The Classic Center from 12-5 p.m.
- Teens will enjoy a free at the Oconee County Library starting at 6 p.m. Spaghetti will be served.
