- The Home Depot offers the free workshop from 1-2:30 p.m.
- The Athens Area Humane Society has partnered with Ten Pins Tavern to raise money through a to help adoptable dogs as well as a special foster dog named Izzy. From 2-7 p.m., 25 percent of bowling lane fees and a percentage of specialty drinks will be donated to the Humane Society. Meet some adoptables and enjoy live music, too!
- Take a tour of the Georgia Museum of Art from 3-4 p.m. and see highlights from the permanent collection. Meet in the lobby to join the group.
- Tickets are on sale now for the Athens Wine Weekend 2012 coming up Feb. 3-5. The weekend includes wine tastings, seminars, dinners and a silent auction. .
