Come cheer on the stars in the ESP's fifth annual Big Hearts Pageant tonight!

Weather: A 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms is in the forecast.  The weather channel predicts a high temperature around 62 degrees.

Top things to know:

  • Grab your running shoes and head over to the _ It gets under way at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a 1-mile kids trail run.
  • Teachers in Clarke, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties and the city of Madison are invited to rummage through a collection of donated supplies at the Teacher Reuse Store.  It opens at 9 a.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Facility. .
  • Some special contestants are readying to hit the stage tonight in ESP's fifth annual .  It begins at 7 p.m. in The Classic Center and tickets are $12.  The Pageant helps fund tuition for summer camp for children and young adults with special needs. There will also be a silent auction with many cool items up for grabs!
  • If you missed it when it first cycled through theatres, there are chances to catch Brad Pitt in "Moneyball" on the big screen this weekend at the University of Georgia's Tate Theatre.  Tickets are $2 each or free for UGA students with ID. Showtimes are 3, 6, and 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range $1-2.
