- Oconee County Schools hold Meet the Teacher events today. Stop by Oconee County Primary School and all of the elementary schools from 1-3 p.m. The event for middle and high school students and their parents is from 2-4 p.m.
- All are invited to the free opening reception for the Spirit of the Land 2012: Small Scale Images of the Georgia Landscape at the State Botanical Gardens. It begins at 5:30 p.m. .
