Weather: A mix of sun and clouds in the morning will transition to scattered thunderstorms later in the day.Β  The Weather Channel predicts high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Top things to know:

  • The UGA College of Veterinary Medicine hosts a blood drive from 11-5 p.m.
  • Families in need can come to a mobile food pantry in the parking lot from 4-6 p.m. The service is sponsored by the Connecting Point Church in Bogart in partnership with the FoodBank of NEGA. Families seeking assistance will be asked to fill out a simple form indicating monthly income and size of family and then families will receive a free box of groceries.

  • The Oconee Regional Republican Women meet at 6:30 p.m. at Summit Office Park for the presentation "Exposing 'Agenda 21' A United Nations Plan on Sustainable Development."
