Will the Warriors or Titans come out on top in today's intra-county tennis match?

Weather:  A 30 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms is in today's Weather Channel forecast. Plan on a high temperature around 80 degrees and a mix of sun and clouds.

Top things to know:

  • It's an intra-county match up! OCHS and NOHS tennis teams meet on the court this afternoon at North Oconee at 4.
  • In other high school sports news, the NOHS girls' and boys' soccer teams host Apalachee starting at 5:30 p.m.
  • UGA students are encouraged to attend the "Open Mic with Mike Forum" starting at 6 p.m. at the Tate Student Center to discuss university issues with UGA President Michael Adams.  The meeting is open to the public but only students may participate.
  • The Oconee County Board of Commissioners holds a regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the courthouse.  The Board will consider a Farmington Fire Station design recommendation.  The complete draft of the agenda is attached as a pdf.
