Oconee Today -- April 25

Ballroom dance classes and prescription drug cards are a few of the things to know about in Oconee today. See what else there is to know.

1. Sunday's beautiful weather carries over into Monday.  Sunshine and highs in the mid 80s are in today's forecast.

2. Seniors get their dance on today and every other Monday at the .  Ballroom dance classes begin at 2 p.m. and each class is $5 per person.

3. Print a free county drug card to help offset the cost of of prescription medications. A news release states that the card offers an average of 24 percent savings off the retail price of prescription medications. The cards are available at various locations around Oconee County and may be printed online.  See this for more details.

4. The University of Georgia Wind Symphony and Half Dozen Brass Band perform a concert this evening.  The event gets underway at 8 p.m. in the Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall.

5. UPDATE/CORRECTION: There is no meeting of the Bogart Historical Society today.  The BHS now holds meetings on the 4th Saturday of each month at 123 Main Street at 9 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
