North Oconee High School Titans tennis host round one of the 8 AA state playoffs this afternoon. See what else there is to know in and around Oconee today.

1. Slightly warmer temperatures are in today's forecast.  The high will be around 83 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts.

2.  A representative of Hospice Advantage will be at the this morning to lead a craft class. 

3. Round one of the state begin today at .  The Titans take on Greater Atlanta Christian starting at 4 p.m.

4. The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Russell Hall on the campus of the University of Georgia from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.  For more information about donating, see the Red Cross website.

5. The Georgia Review's third annual takes place at 7 p.m. at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.  National award–winning author Barry Lopez will read selections from both fiction and non-fiction works.  Tickets are $4 for students and $8 general admission.
