Oconee Today -- April 1

It's April Fool's Day, but we assure you that Patch will not pull any pranks. Read about a northeast Georgia job fair, Festifool, First Friday, and other information to know today.

1. Possible rain in the morning will clear up by early afternoon.  Partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 60s are in today's forecast.

2. The Georgia Department of Labor’s Habersham Career Center and the Rabun County Chamber of Commerce co-sponsor a job fair today from 9 a.m. until noon in the Fellowship Hall of the Dillard United Methodist Church.

3. Over the next two days, will be going on at the .  The event boasts a variety of crafts, music, food, and actvities for children. Join in the fun from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. today.

4. 's 3rd Annual Downtown gets underway at 7:30 p.m.  Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

5. Tonight kicks off the season of First Friday in Watkinsville. From 6 p.m. until around 9 p.m. bring the kids to downtown for some free popcorn, hayrides, and Easter-themed activities. Stay for shopping and dining out. Check back later today for a feature with more information about the event.
