The Atlanta Falcons, who once trained in Suwanee, opened their 2013 training camp July 24 in Flowery Branch.
Here are some facts to know about the team and the upcoming season:
- SEASON OPENER: Sunday, Sept. 1, at New Orleans.
- NEW FACES: RB Steven Jackson, DE Osi Umenyinora.
- KEY DEPARTURES: RB Michael Turner, DE John Abraham.
- 2: Number of division titles the Falcons have won since Mike Smith took over as head coach in 2008.
