The Terrapin Twilight Criterium on Saturday, April 27, is the main event of the Athens Twilight weekend and features the Terrapin Twilight Men's Criterium, which starts at 8:45pm and the Terrapin Twilight Women's Criterium, which starts at 7:45pm. These races attract cyclists representing teams from all over the nation and the world.

The men's pro-am criterium is an 80K race around historic downtown Athens, while the women's pro-am criterium measure 40K. The course start-finish line is on Clayton Street at College Avenue. The 1K course runs clockwise on Clayton Street, Lumpkin Street, Washington Street and Thomas Street.
