ACC Library staff will be hosting a puppet show on Thursday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the Clarke Central High School Auditorium.
The puppet show will be based on the children's book "And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon" by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel. Learn what happens to the group after the Dish and Spoon run away.

More About Clarke Central High School
Clarke Central has been named one of the top high schools in the country by U.S. News and World Report. Located on Milledge Avenue between Baxter and Broad, Clarke Central’s main building opened in 1956. Since that time, there have been several additions and renovations. A three-story classroom and lab were finished in 2006. The school also has a new theater, gymnasium, media center and food court. Clarke Central has specialists in art, music, various technologies, as well as for gifted students and special education. The school colors of Clarke Central are red and gold and their mascot is the gladiator. The school's student newsmagazine wins national awards. For 2010-11, the student body was 57 percent African-American, 22 percent White, 16 percent Hispanic, three percent multiracial and two percent Asian.
