The city of Athens will observe National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3 at Athens First United Methodist Church. The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. with refreshments and end around 8 p.m. Prayer and music along with a message from Pastor Chuck Hodges is free and open to the community.
