Junior American Citizens Watkinsville is sponsoring a Art & Creative Writing Contest during the month of November. The contest is open to All students K-12. Choose from 5 different categories and bring your entry to Oconee County Library between 3:30-6:00 November 26, Monday. (Arrangments can be made for alternate turn-in time-- please, do not give to library staff or leave at desk.) JAC will be meeting in the Large Auditorium.
Junior American Citizens will have a regular meeting 4-5, and we will be eager to receive entries at that time. JAC will be available to help you fill out entry form & artis/writer information. There will be winners in every grade, who will then be eligible to compete at the State level. The Children's Department has graciously allowed us to display our work.

The Oconee County Library offers a wide-variety of literary selections, audio-video items, classes and activities for Oconee residents and visitors. There's something available for every age from children's puppet shows, reading parties and hands-on projects, to young adult activities such as art projects, parties and movie showings.
