Westminster Christian Applauded for Blood Drive Participation

The American Red Cross recently declared that the school had the highest number of blood donations in Georgia based on a percentage of the total student population for the 2010-11 school year.

 

Based on a percentage of the total student population for the 2010-11 school year, Westminster Christian Academy has been named the top Georgia school in school-sponsored blood drive participation, according to a news release.

Westminster Christian led with 226 percent participation.  The American Red Cross made the announcement in June, the school's website stated.

Recent graduate Callie Jo Fowler was awarded a $500 scholarship by the Red Cross in honor of the school's accomplishment.
