Weather: Expect a weekend full of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 80s. The National Weather Service predicts lows overnight Saturday to Sunday and Sunday to Monday will drop to around 60 degrees. The next chance for rain comes on Tuesday.

• The Oconee County Sheriff's Office has announced the Refuse to be a Victim seminar scheduled to take place this morning at the Civic Center has been postponed.

• The big day has arrived.  Saturday from noon until 8 p.m., superheroes will take to the sky and jump from an airplane to benefit Extra Special People Inc.  It all happens at the Monroe-Walton Airport. Community members are encouraged to come out and cheer on the jumpers.

• The third highest ranking official in The Mormon Church visits Oconee on Sunday. Apostle L. Tom Perry will speak at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10 a.m.
