Watkinsville Man Sentenced for Assault
Mark Andrew Maxey is to spend two years in prison and 10 years on probation.
Judge David Sweat sentenced Mark Andrew Maxey to two years behind bars and 10 years probation for his aggravated assault conviction, said Clerk of Superior Court Angela Watson.
She said Maxey received 12 months imprisonment for both cruelty to children and stalking, to be served concurrent with the aggravated assault prison time.
The sentencing took place Tuesday at Oconee County Courthouse.
