Watkinsville Man Dies From Tree Accident
The accident occurred Wednesday while the man was servicing trees in a private yard in Madison County, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
Wednesday afternoon a Watkinsville man was killed while on the job servicing trees with a crew in a private yard on Nowhere Road in Madison County, Chief Deputy Shawn Burns of the Madison County Sheriff's Office told the Athens Banner-Herald.
Christopher Welch, 26, was pinned down by a broken tree and died at the scene, the newspaper reports.
