UGA Student Recounts Bone Marrow Donation, Impact of Kajal Patel's Story on His Life [Video]

Ellis Edwards shared about his experience during the celebration of life ceremony honoring the young Athens Academy hero.

University of Georgia student Ellis Edwards at the ceremony celebrating the life of Athens Academy student Kajal Patel spoke about his experience with signing up for the Be the Match registry during the drive at the Tate Center last year. Edwards was later identified as a match for a 6-year-old boy with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and he donated this past fall.
