The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating allegations that a University of Georgia Police officer sodomized a woman he knew during sex, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
The woman filed a complaint with Athens-Clarke police last week, according to the paper, and UGA police put the 28-year-old officer on paid leave.
The woman told police she and the officer had consensual sex in May and that he forced her into a sexual position against her will, according to the Banner-Herald.
