Yes, me too Stephanie. But in a chilling sort of was she was beautiful. She spent several weeks on her web & laid a LOT of eggs. It was amazing watching them hatch too.

David - I found one of these in my cactus patch. I thought it had spun some yarn or something into it's web, then I realized that that zigzag thing WAS part of the web. I had never seen a spider like that before.

Beth that's a great shot ! It looks like the same type of spider as mine. Kim, I don't know about yours. LOL ! I'm still trying to find your spider on that beach.

Honestly, I didn't know this group of pics was going to just be spiders when I posted the beach one. However, my spider looked just like yours in my cactus patch. :)
