Employer: The Home Depot 

Description: Home Depot announced in a news release Thursday that the company plans to hire 70,000 seasonal associates in preparation of the busiest shopping season for home improvements. 

In a released statement, executive vice president for Human Resources Tim Crow said, "a seasonal job at The Home Depot can often lead to a regular position if you're passionate about customer service."

The Home Depot will also usher in the season with door-buster prices on hundreds of the most sought after spring products, including a variety of live goods and lawn care, outdoor power, eco-friendly gardening products, patio and grills, the news release noted.
