Photos and Video: Prehistoric Friends Visit Watkinsville During First Friday in September
Event-goers enjoyed a puppet show filled with dinosaurs and other family-friendly activities in downtown Watkinsville, Ga. on Sept. 7.
Kids also enjoyed karate demonstrations, face painting and jumping on giant bouncy balls at Georgia Karate Academy. New Life Apostolic Church handed out free teddy bears and Johnson United Methodist Church members made balloon hats.
Ice cream, provided by the North Georgia Two Cylinder Club, was also a big hit, as was freshly-popped popcorn from the City of Watkinsville.
The monthly event, from May to December each year, is sponsored by the Watkinsville Trade and Tourism Association.
