Parrot Caretaker Needed

Here's a job for bird lovers near UGA in Athens.

 

Title: Parrot Caretaker

Description: A parrot caretaker is needed in the Athens area to help with the maintenance of a specially constructed and private aviary. Individuals applying for this position must be calm, observant and preferably interested in birds and parrots. Applicants will work in the aviary with the birds and should be willing to become familiar with individual birds and their habits. If hired you will learn the basics of care, feeding and the needs of various species. Training and written educational materials will be provided.

Requirements: Work hours will be begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sundays through Wednesdays. More than one caretaker may be needed. The preference is for an individual ages 21 or older who has experience with parrots and who will be available for a year or longer. The location of this position is near the UGA campus in Athens.
