- Are you interested in becoming a mentor to a student at Oconee County Schools? The Oconee Area Resource Council is holding a mentor training session at 5:30 p.m. . Call 706-769-4974 to register.
- It's Spirit Night at Dickey's BBQ on Hog Mountain Road. A portion of sales will be donated to Oconee County Primary School.
- The Georgia Museum of Art holds a screening of three films: Robert Rauschenberg’s “Open Score,” John Cage’s “Variations VII” and David Tudor's "Bandoneon! (a combine)." Lynn Boland, curator of the exhibition, will introduce the films with a 30-minute talk starting at 7 p.m.. According to a news release, the total running time is 113 minutes.
- The Oconee County GOP meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Watkinsville Community Center every third Thursday of the month.
