If you like Santana, you won't want to miss Ashford Manor's Concert on the Lawn this evening.

 

Weather: A warm front moves in and brings with it high temperatures in the mid 80s. The National Weather Service predicts another sunny and dry day.

Top Things to Know About:

  • Prepare for the fall with a flu shot.  A Flu Shot Clinic is taking place at UGA's R. C. Wilson Pharmacy Building from 2-4 p.m. Shots are $20 or $15 for students. Must be at least 18-years-old.
  • Teens are in for a sweet treat at the Oconee County Library.  Kids ages 11-18 are invited to make candied apples in celebration of fall. Wash it down with apple cider!  The free activity starts at 6 p.m.
  • Candidate for Mayor of Watkinsville Dan Matthews holds an event at 6 p.m. at Jittery Joe's.  He is running against Charles Ivie. The election will take place on Nov. 8.
  • Ashford Manor's Concerts on the Lawn series continues this evening with A Tribute to Santana. The gates will open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets prices are as follows: $15, Student $12 (with ID), Children under 12- $5, Children under 6 - FREE.
