A children's carnival, collegiate volleyball match and trivia night are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.
Weather: Plenty of sunshine and a high of 81 are in the Weather Channel forecast for the middle of the work week. Lows overnight are expected to hover in the mid 50s.
Top things to know:
- The Oconee Library hosts a free storytime for little ones ages 2-5 every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. 1080 Experiment Station.
- Teen volunteers are needed at the Oconee County Library this week from 5 - 9 p.m. to help with preparations for the annual haunted house on Friday.
- Take a free tour of the Georgia Museum of Art from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and see highlights from the permanent collection.
- The East Athens Community Center hosts a Children's Carnival from 5-6:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $3 ACC residents and $5 non-residents. See more details.
- The UGA Volleyball team hosts Missori at 7 p.m. at the Ramsey Center
- Wednesday night is Trivia Night at Your Pie Watkinsville. It begins at 7:30 p.m.
