Weather: The work week comes to a close with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. The National Weather Service predicts wind gusts could reach up to 15mph.

- Oconee County Schools teachers join students for a day off for Fall Break. Classes resume on Monday.
- The new RaceTrac on Monroe Highway opens its doors today. A ribbon cutting takes place at 10:30 a.m. and will feature a performance by members of the NOHS Titan Regiment. See more.
- Dunkin' Donuts hosts a free family fun day from 3-5 p.m. Ziggy the Clown will be on hand for face painting, balloon art and more.
