- From 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., you can stop in and give blood during a drive at Athens Regional Medical Center in the medical services building. Blood and double red cells are needed. Learn more about blood donation on the American Red Cross website.
- Candidates for the Oconee County offices of Sheriff, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Commissioners Posts 1 and 4 are scheduled to speak at a candidates forum hosted by the Oconee County GOP. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Watkinsville Community Center.
- Many candidates have also confirmed they'll swing by the Oconee County Democratic Committee's meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. in the Adult Learning Center.
