- During today's meeting of the Oconee Rotary Club, president James Deaton will present "2012-2013 Goals and Plans for the Year." The meeting starts at 7 a.m. in the Watkinsville Community Center and includes a continental breakfast. Guests are welcome to attend at a cost of $5 per person.
- The Oconee County Board of Commissioners holds a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the courthouse. Commissioners will consider appointments to the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Committee, Land Use and Transportation Committee, Library Advisory Board, Planning Commission, Recreational Affairs Committee and Board of Tax Assessors.
