It's time to recycle the Christmas tree!
Weather: The National Weather Service calls for a 20 percent chance of rain showers. Otherwise, cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid 60s. Another chance of showers is in the overnight forecast with lows in the upper 40s.

- Families interested in learning more about Prince Avenue Christian School are invited to an open house from 9-11 a.m.
- It's time to recycle the Christimas tree! Volunteers with the Keep Oconee County Beautiful Commission will be at Harris Shoals Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for "Bring One for the Chipper." Turn in your tree and receive a seedling, compliments of the Oconee Lions Club. Then return on Jan. 11 if you'd like some free mulch!
