• Learn adult, child and infant CPR and basic first aid at a training at Oconee Pre-School Academy.  The three-hour class starts at 6 p.m. and costs $25 at the door.
• In basketball news, North Oconee High hosts Jefferson at 6 p.m.,   Prince Avenue Christian School takes on Towns County at home at 6 p.m., and the UGA men's team  hopes for a win against Kentucky at 9 p.m. in Athens. According to the NOHS Basketball Team's Facebook page, it's Student Appreciation Night. All student tickets are $2. Stevi B's Pizza will provide food and there will be prizes and giveaways.
