Oconee County Hiring for Courthouse Screener

Employer: Oconee County Government

Description: The Oconee County government is hiring for a part-time courthouse security screener to operate metal dectors and radios.

Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational/technical training in security, law enforcement, or a related field; supplemented by one (1) year previous experience and/or training involving security techniques and practices associated with government building security issues, as a law enforcement patrol officer, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a U.S. Citizen or resident status. Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certification requirements as a law enforcement officer is preferred.
