Oconee County Fire Rescue Answers Call About Person Stuck in Elevator

Wonder where the trucks were headed last week? Check out calls the Oconee County Fire Rescue responded to during the week of June 11-17, 2012.

 

By the time firefighters arrived to Zaxby’s at 1040 Founders Boulevard, a person who had reportedly been stuck in an elevator had already been freed.  The call went out at 7:52 a.m. on June 11, according to Fire Chief Bruce Thaxton.

Alarm Activation

June 12

  • 3:10 p.m., 1101 Laurel Place
  • 6:31 p.m., 1061 Cliff Dawson Road

Auto Accident

June 11

  • 2:28 p.m., 10 Loop – CLARKE COUNTY

June 16

  • 1:17 a.m., 1200 Block Old Farmington Road
  • 3:00 a.m., 1200 Block Barber Creek Road

Tree on Power Line

June 11

  • 7:50 a.m., 1300 Block Ivywood Drive

 

There were a total of 40 medical emergencies last week. All information was provided by Oconee County Fire Rescue.
