Hurricane Isaac Forces Cancellation of Some Oconee Recreation Activities

The Oconee County Parks and Recreation Inclement Weather Hotline has the details.

 

The Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department has announced schedule changes for Tuesday activities due to heavy rain from Hurricane Isaac.

According to the department's Inclement Weather Hotline, as of 3:40 p.m. the Oconee Soccer Alliance's Recreation Advanced Development Program and Academy Soccer have been canceled.

Cheerleading has been moved to the Herman C. Michael Park gym.

All other outdoor activities, including regular rec soccer practices, were still on as scheduled.
