Home on Hunter Trail Burglarized, $2,500 Worth of Items Stolen

Electronics, jewelry and cash were taken from the residence in Oconee County, Ga.

 

Sometime during about a five-hour period on Jan. 21, a burglar reportedly broke into a home in the 1000 block of Hunter Trail and snatched over $2,500 worth electronics, jewelry and cash.

According to an incident report, a resident of the home told Oconee County Sheriff's deputies he left around 11:45 a.m. and arrived home about 6:15 p.m. that day to find a back door had been forced open.

Numerous items were missing, including a 52" flat screen television, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and a Blu-Ray player.

An estimated $500 worth of gold jewelry was also missing from some drawers and $300 cash was taken.

The case is under investigation.
