The 3rd Annual award-winning Georgia Antebellum Trail Pilgrimage is going on now through May 1.  The 100-mile pilgrimage spans the state from Macon to Athens and highlights hidden historical gems found in the different cities.

Locations drawing vistors to Watkinsville include Ashford Manor, Eagle Tavern Museum, and the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation building.

The Antebellum Trail Headquarters in Athens is located at the Church-Waddell-Brumby House on Dougherty St. and other Athens stops include the T.R.R. Cobb House, the Taylor-Grady House, and the Ware-Lyndon House.

Tickets are $25 per person or $20 for groups of 10 or more and participants in this self-guided pilgrimage are welcome to purchase tickets on-line or at any of the six welcome centers along the route before or during the pilgrimage.
